cows milk and mothers milk
Swedish university study shows mothers that drink cows milk while breastfeeding can lead to colic in their babies.
Althought this is not a home run as far as numbers go it does occur more often than the placebo patients.
The study was a double blind crossover consisting of 66 mothers who breast fed. They were all put on a diet without cows milk, 35 of the babies colic disappeared, 2 of the mothers were given cows milk again, and the colic reappeared.
The study showed a high correlation between colic and mothers consumption of cows milk.
