Sucrose does not lessen colic

I have to admit that I did not buy the full pdf file, mainly because the study was with only 19 infants. That number is too small to be bullet proof.
12 out of 19 babies improved. But the summary does not say what improved means.
Worth a try?

There is an effect on infants that stops them crying when given sweet sucrose, so they did a study to see if it affected colicky babies.
